The Beer Caves of Iowa City

Historian Marlin Ingalls of the Office of the State Archaeologist will talk about the discovery of beer caves in Iowa City and the ground penetrating radar that has been used to explore and map the caves. This program is free and open to the public.  Presented in conjunction with the current exhibit "German Iowa and the Global Midwest."
