Introducing Mr. Wetherby

In conjunction with our current exhibit Faces of Iowa Through the Early Lens, local historian and author Marybeth Slonneger will give a talk about the history of Iowa City's first prominent photographer Isaac Wetherby.

Slonneger holds degrees in art history, book arts and photography and is the author of Small But Ours, The Burg, Wetherby's Gallery, and Finials. She has done extensive research about Wetherby in the State Historical Society of Iowa's collection and continues to support the preservation of local history.

This program is free to attend and open to the public.
