 About the Festival
This year, the Iowa Children's Water Festival is celebrating its 18th year of educating Iowa students about the importance of water!

Did you know?
? More than 2,000 Iowa 5th graders attend the Festival each year!

? More than 200 Volunteers are needed each year!

? There are more than 60 Presenters/Exhibitors!

? There are stage shows, games, and poster and essay contests!


The Iowa Children's Water Festival is the Recipient of:

? Environmental Excellence Award

? "Above and Beyond" the Governor's service recognition program, which honors groups and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the well being of Iowa children

? Outstanding Water Resources Educator Award from the Iowa State University Water Resources Research Institute

? "Ding" Darling Environmental Excellence Award for Outstanding Environmental Education Program by the Iowa Association of Naturalists Iowa Conservation Education Council
