When the delegates to Iowa’s constitutional conventions met in Old Capitol in the mid-19th century, what were their biggest arguments about?  Which still-standing building served as a hotel where some of the delegates stayed?  And where in Old Capitol is the mysterious copper box?  We will spend a lively evening discussing these and other things concerning the important work that Iowa’s founders did in Old Capitol more than a century and a half ago.
