The Archaeology Program Series will introduce Louisa County Residents to various aspects of archaeology and dive into the fascinating prehistory of our county. 

The series continues with "Louisa County Prehistory" on Thursday, September 7 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the Columbus Junction Civic Center (ICN Room). 

This presentation is by Cherie Haury-Artz, an archaeologist and educator with the Office of the State Archaeologist. This presentation will take a look at what is known about prehistoric life in Iowa with an emphasis on early agriculture and mounds in Louisa County and Southeast Iowa.
