Events
In 2016, the joint meeting of the Midwest Archaeological Conference, Inc. will be held in Iowa City, Iowa hosted by the University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist (OSA). In addition to the numerous cutting edge symposia (including the second-ever MAC, Inc. Board-sponsored symposium), papers, and posters, there will be two receptions (Thursday and Friday evenings) and the meeting will conclude with a banquet and speaker on Saturday evening. The guest speaker is Steve Shackley (Professor Emeritus, UC Berkeley), who will present on anthropological implications of his XRF investigations. See additional information about conference events on the MAC website.

Presentation Submissions
Presentation abstracts are due September 1st! You may submit presentation abstracts while completing your meeting registration or register and then before 9/1 add presentation information. Please see the MAC website for conference registration information and presentation guidelines.
