This is the story of a boat called Ocean Watch, a mission called Around the Americas, and a vast, watery playground in distress. It follows four men -- Mark Schrader, Herb McCormick, David Thoreson and David Logan -- as they try to change the world the only way they know how: by taking to the sea. They set out from Seattle in May of 2009 and spent more than 12 months sailing 28,000 miles to complete the first circumnavigation of North and South America, all in an effort raise awareness about the fragility of the oceans.
