Join Cherie Haury-Artz from the University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist to take a look at what is known about prehistoric life in this part of Iowa with some emphasis on the late Pleistocene (Ice Age) and a brief summary of what has been learned about the mammoth remains recently discovered along the shores of Lake Red Rock. At 1pm, Lake Red Rock Visitor Center.
